4 Hacks For Courageously Finishing Your Week Strong and Tackling Your Hump Day Mindset.

Happy Hump Day, friends! Well, here we are again. It’s Wednesday and many times at this point in our week, we either find ourselves getting overwhelmed with the work that piles up on us or beating ourselves up for not being as productive as we should be.

So today I want to talk to you about how you can finish the week strong and lose that defeating mindset that tells you “I’ll never get all of this done!” Here are 4 tips to make your weeks more productive and COURAGEOUSLY tackling your Hump Day mindset.

#1-Wednesday is a great day to asses your progress. Rather than viewing the week as “glass half empty”, use the day to get your head back in the game!! To do this, ask yourself a few questions. Have you gotten the things done you needed to at this point in your week? Do you need to bump-up productivity to get things done? Get a clear picture of the progress you need to make this week to finish strong!

#2-Now, let’s control your overwhelm! The bible says in Matthew 5:4-“Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

So what can you do today that will help walk towards a goal? Don’t worry about what you have to do tomorrow. What can you do TODAY, right now? If you have slacked Monday or Tuesday or let things slip through the cracks, don’t beat yourself up. That mindset will get you nowhere! Give yourself some grace, my friends. You aren’t a robot, you are a human trying to spin all the plates. Re-adjust your thinking so you aren’t in a negative mindset. Consider that you may need to delegate work to others so you can focus on the most important goals you need to accomplish this week? Have realistic expectations of what all you can do. and try to focus on actions you can take today.

#3-Psalm 111:7-8 says-“The works of his hands are faithful and just; all his precepts are trustworthy; they are established forever and ever, to be performed with faithfulness and uprightness.” Your work is trustworthy, you are faithful to your call so it’s time to power up, sister! 💪🏼💪🏼 Take 30 minutes to regroup, make new lists, set new goals to stay on track. This will help you accomplish those must-dos on your list this week.

#4-If you are killing on productivity, or running like mad and making things happen, reward yourself! Give yourself a breather, allow yourself some time to pray and meditate on God, go-out with your hubby or friends, or have yourself some me-time. Refresh so you can finish the rest of the week without burn-out!
